We’re looking for an Android developer who’s ready to take ownership, collaborate closely with a skilled team, and help shape the next generation of our mobile application.

What will you be doing?

You will be working on projects that make a positive impact to the world.
From solving upcoming water shortages in the world’s biggest cities, improving animal welfare or developing next-generation home alarms, that will compete with evil corporate giants, but also designing the products that help average Joe in everyday life.

Most important, you will not be a small screw in the big corporate machinery.
You will be able to participate the whole way and see the process of creating something new.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of a new application (Flutter or KMM)
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from the firmware and QA teams
  • Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and BLE stability
  • Structure and document the BLE logic (state machine, reconnect, recovery)
  • Involvement in designing the next generation of our application (from native to cross-platform)
  • Work on a real-world product that combines mobile technologies, audio, and hardware

We would be happy if you fulfill these requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing Android smartphone applications in Kotlin (or in Java) 
  • Understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy on Android (GATT, characteristics, MTU, connection interval, scan filters, reconnect logic)
  • Good understanding of the Android lifecycle, permission system, and background services
  • Experience with Flutter (Dart) or Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Projects involving hardware (IoT, audio equipment, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
  • BLE testing on multiple devices and through automation
  • Experience with BD/EDR and/or  LE audio streaming profiles (Hands-free profile, A2DP, LE audio…)
